Ladakh readies for first local body polls since 2018 on November 21

Ladakh Chief Secretary Ashish Kundra reviewed arrangements for the November 21 Panchayat and Municipal elections in the Union Territory. Voting will cover 193 panchayats, with the process ending by November 30, while municipal polls will be held in Leh and Kargil. The previous such elections were held in 2018, and those terms expired in November 2023.
