IRDAI to roll out insurance distribution reforms only after consensus

IRDAI Chairman Ajay Seth has assured the insurance industry that proposed distribution reforms will be implemented only after reaching a consensus. Speaking at a BFSI summit on Tuesday, he said he has been meeting stakeholders extensively since the discussion paper was released and is in 'listening mode'. He added that the regulator will work to speed up health insurance claims.
