Sun Pharma Q2 profit falls 36% on one-off charges

Sun Pharma's September-quarter consolidated net profit fell 36.4% to ₹1,988.5 crore, hit by ₹1,268.8 crore in exceptional charges tied to its Organon acquisition and an antitrust settlement. Excluding these, adjusted profit was ₹3,162 crore. Revenue grew nearly 12% to ₹16,198.7 crore on strength in India and emerging markets, while US formulation sales fell 8.2%.
