Chery's Omoda X compact SUV brings thermal night vision

Chinese automaker Chery has unveiled the Omoda X, a RAV4-sized compact SUV shown as a concept at its International User Summit in Wuhu. It will come in fully electric and plug-in hybrid forms and features an infrared thermal-imaging night vision system, a first for Chery, that can detect wildlife and pedestrians up to 90 metres away in low light.
