Norrin treatment prevents vision loss in diabetic rats

The treatment also curbed retinal cell death and inflammation, and halted further damage even after sight loss began. Published in Diabetes, the work could aid new therapies for diabetic retinopathy, where current anti-VEGF injections fail half of patients.
