Rivian revenue jumps 38% as new R2 becomes its best-selling model

Rivian's Q3 2026 revenue rose 38% year on year to $2.155 billion, beating Wall Street estimates, and the company raised its full-year guidance. The R2, in its first full quarter of deliveries, became its best-selling vehicle ahead of the R1 and Amazon van. Rivian still posted a net loss of $913 million as the R2 ramp-up squeezed margins.
