AI agent carries out brain injection on a live mouse

Exin Therapeutics CEO Gabriel Ocana Santero has used an AI agent to carry out a brain injection on a living mouse. The San Francisco startup connected the agent to a custom surgical rig with a motorised restraint and a camera, letting it observe, move the needle and deliver a gene therapy it chose. Santero says linking agents to real labs makes AI more reliable.
