Kerala teacher arrested over false worms-in-food claim at State Sports Meet

Kozhikode police arrested Jijo James, a physical education teacher from Ernakulam, for a Facebook post alleging worms were found in food served to students at the State Sports Meet. Organisers inspected and found the claim false. A case was filed for provocation intended to cause a riot. Education Minister N. Samsudheen alleged a conspiracy and promised departmental action.
