FRROs to be set up in all State capitals by 2027: MHA

The Union Home Ministry said on Monday it plans to open Foreigners Regional Registration Offices in every State capital by 2027, following directions from Home Minister Amit Shah. Five new FRROs have come up since 2025, two of them this year. The ministry said the expansion will ease access to immigration services as more foreigners arrive for tourism, treatment and education.
