New York woman convicted of receiving ISIS weapons training in Syria

A US jury has convicted Halima Salman, 27, of receiving weapons training from the Islamic State group after her father took her to Syria as a teenager and she was married to a fighter. Prosecutors showed a video of her holding an assault rifle, while her defence said she was trapped. She faces up to 10 years; sentencing is set for February 2.
