US judge Alvin Hellerstein, who presided over Trump and Maduro cases, dies at 92
Manhattan federal judge Alvin K. Hellerstein has died aged 92, surrounded by family. Appointed by Bill Clinton in 1998, he oversaw 9/11 lawsuits, rejected Donald Trump's bids to move his hush money case, and just two weeks ago arraigned Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores on torture charges. Judge Analisa Torres will take over the Maduro case.
