New film 'Miracle in Antarctica' tells story of India's first polar base

'Miracle in Antarctica', a new film produced by Bengaluru-based writer and filmmaker Sourabha Rao, chronicles the building of Dakshin Gangotri, India's first scientific base in Antarctica, set up in 1983-84. Rao says she is surprised the story has not been told more widely, calling it a privilege to bring the landmark expedition to the screen.
