Ather backs 80 km scooters as Ola pushes 300 km range

Ather says its average customer rides just 27-28 km a day, so a scooter with about 80 km of real-world range covers roughly three days. Its entry Konarc variant uses a 2.1 kWh battery with 100 km IDC range, while 125 km and 161 km versions exist and a 200 km one is planned. Ola Electric, by contrast, unveiled a model claiming around 300 km in August.
