Sugarcane farmers' Karnataka bandh hits Belagavi

Protesters briefly stopped buses at the Central Bus Stand, and a scuffle broke out with police. Neighbouring districts were largely unaffected. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar urged farmers to honour the understanding reached on October 26.
