Amit Shah promises Uniform Civil Code in UP if BJP wins again

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said a Uniform Civil Code will be brought to Uttar Pradesh if the BJP wins the 2027 Assembly election. Addressing the party's state executive meeting in Lucknow on October 30, he also challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav to a debate in Parliament on the special intensive revision of electoral rolls.
