Netherlands withdraws from Eurovision 2027 over Israel's participation

The Netherlands will skip next year's Eurovision Song Contest after public broadcaster NPO reversed its pledge to return, citing "sensitivities" over Israel's participation. NPO media director Jurre Bosman said Israel's inclusion causes "discussion and division". The country was among five that boycotted this year's contest after Dutch network Avrotros withdrew.
