Marquez wins Phillip Island Sprint to lead MotoGP title race

Reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez won the Sprint at Phillip Island, his 24th Sprint victory, to lead the championship by 10 points over Aprilia's Jorge Martin, who crashed at high speed on lap 8. Sunday's Grand Prix was cancelled due to bad weather at the circuit's last MotoGP weekend before Adelaide's street track takes over in 2027.
