IIT Bombay student's parents seek CBI or SIT probe into his death

The parents of Sahil Wakode, an IIT student who died by suicide on September 18, have moved the Bombay High Court seeking an investigation by the CBI or a Special Investigation Team, monitored by a retired judge. Their plea says their son faced caste-based humiliation and alleges police failed to probe the case seriously. Powai police had registered an abetment case.
