ED moves to declare Nirav Modi, Choksi's wives fugitive offenders

The Enforcement Directorate plans to seek fugitive economic offender status for Ami Nirav Modi and Priti Choksi, wives of Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, in the ₹13,000-crore PNB fraud case. Officials believe they live in the US and Belgium respectively. The designation would let the agency confiscate their assets in India and abroad without waiting for a conviction.
