Talat Aziz hopes to return home early next year after fire

Veteran ghazal singer and actor Talat Aziz says restoration has begun on his Mumbai home, which was badly damaged in a fire on October 2 that gutted the ground floor and parts of the first floor. The 69-year-old, now staying at a friend's apartment, lost paintings and musical instruments, and hopes to move back by January or February.
