Fake nuclear alerts hit Ukraine and Russia as both allege hacking

Ukraine and Russia have accused each other of hacking emergency alert systems after apps sent fake radiation warnings on Sunday and Monday. Ukraine's Air Alert app warned users around Kyiv of nuclear and chemical threats and Oreshnik missile use. Officials cleared up the confusion within an hour. The alerts began as a six-day Kherson ceasefire ended.
