Designer Anurag Gupta turns water hyacinth into Lakmé couture

At Lakmé Fashion Week, designer Anurag Gupta is converting invasive water hyacinth from village ponds into sustainable couture. The work draws on craft skills of women from his hometown Biskohar in Uttar Pradesh, framing fashion as a way to reuse an ecological pest and support local artisans.
