Meta AI director Rohit Patel quits to build Office rival Ndoc

Rohit Patel, a director at Meta Superintelligence Labs, is leaving Meta after eight years to launch Ndoc, a startup pitched as an AI-native replacement for Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Ndoc aims to merge work now spread across spreadsheets, documents, slides and chatbots into one shared workspace. Patel joins several other high-profile recent departures from Meta.
