NHRC seeks report after three accused paraded semi-clad in Kolkata

The National Human Rights Commission has taken suo motu cognisance of reports that three accused were paraded in a semi-clad state, with ropes tied around their waists, in Kolkata's Behala area. It issued a notice to the Kolkata Police Commissioner seeking a detailed report within two weeks, saying the reports, if true, raise serious human rights concerns.
