ISRO's GSLV-F18 places NVS-03 navigation satellite in orbit

ISRO's GSLV-F18 rocket successfully launched the NVS-03 satellite from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The mission could help restore India's regional navigation system NavIC, whose constellation has been weakened by repeated atomic clock failures and the failure to place the previous replacement, NVS-02, in its intended orbit. NavIC's development began after the 1999 Kargil War.
