Tesla to wind down Cybertruck production for Cybercab

Elon Musk said Tesla will reduce Cybertruck production around mid-2027 at its Texas factory to free capacity for the driverless Cybercab. Sales of the angular pickup have run well below early forecasts, with multiple recalls and price changes since its late-2023 launch. The company is shifting manufacturing focus toward robotaxi output.
