RJD's Anil Kumar Jha wins Darbhanga MLC seat after 57-hour count

Counting for Bihar's Darbhanga Graduates' Legislative Council seat stretched to 57 hours before RJD candidate Anil Kumar Jha was declared the winner. He defeated sitting BJP MLC Sarvesh Kumar by 4,010 votes, polling 25,406 against 21,396. Jan Suraaj's Mohammad Imteyaz came third with 12,823 votes.
