Google unveils Gemini 4 Carbon, claims big leap in cybersecurity

Google has released Gemini 4 Carbon, its latest frontier AI model, claiming significant gains in coding, agentic tasks and cybersecurity. Carbon tops the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index and SEC-bench Pro, ahead of rival models from OpenAI and Anthropic. It is currently limited to select cyber-defence firms and will later expand to partners in Google's Fairwind Program.
