Neil Young files $10m lawsuit over Trump rally song

Rock veteran Neil Young has sued a Trump-backing fundraising committee for $10m, alleging his 1989 hit Rockin' in the Free World was played without a licence before Donald Trump took the stage at an Ohio rally on 12 October. The Trump 47 Committee is accused of copyright infringement. Young sued Trump's campaign in 2020 over the same song, settling soon after.
