Kerala sets up SIT to probe Kochi synagogue arson case

Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala told the Assembly that a special investigation team under the Ernakulam Central Assistant Commissioner of Police is now probing the alleged arson at a Kochi synagogue. Police have booked Ebin B. Paul of Ikkaranad under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and UAPA sections have been brought in. Central agencies are gathering information on possible extremist links.
