UN General Assembly again condemns US embargo on Cuba
The UN General Assembly passed its annual resolution condemning the US economic embargo on Cuba, with 130 votes in favour, 17 against, including the US and Israel, and 25 abstentions. Germany and Italy, earlier supporters, abstained, which Washington cited as progress in isolating Havana. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said the US was "once again isolated".
