City of London Corporation chief Ian Thomas tops Black Powerlist 2027

Ian Thomas, 57, chief executive of the City of London Corporation, has been named the UK's most influential Black person on the 2027 Powerlist. He is the first Black head of the Square Mile's governing body in more than 900 years. Emma Grede, Steven Bartlett and Idris Elba also made the top ten, while Lenny Henry received a lifetime achievement award.
