INDIA bloc passes symbolic 'impeachment' of CEC Gyanesh Kumar

The INDIA bloc held a 'public impeachment' of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Delhi, with Meira Kumar presiding. Mallikarjun Kharge moved the motion listing six charges, including deleting 13.2 crore voters and rewriting Form 6 without Parliament's approval, and demanded a treason trial. The BJP called the session 'a mockery'. A rally at Ramlila Maidan follows on November 1.
