Chezhiyan's final film The Paper Flower heads to Tokyo film festival

Kaakithamalar (The Paper Flower), the final directorial of late Tamil cinematographer-director-author Chezhiyan R., will have its world premiere in the Asian Future section of the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival. Chezhiyan died suddenly in July. National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad recalled that the filmmaker always had several script ideas and called the posthumous premiere both heartening and poignant.
