Digvijaya Singh begins 930-km Ujjain-to-Ayodhya yatra

Congress veteran Digvijaya Singh, 79, has launched his 930-km Satya Sanatan Swabhiman Yatra from Ujjain, a BJP stronghold. The nearly 70-day padayatra will cross Madhya Pradesh and end in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Singh insists it is not political, but his Congress camp believes it could strengthen the party in MP and re-energise dormant workers in poll-bound UP.
