CoinDCX takes losses after sweep of old hacked wallets fails

Crypto exchange CoinDCX says it absorbed operational losses after a process that sweeps deposits from old wallet addresses, compromised in its July 2025 security incident, failed for a period. Some users kept depositing to those addresses despite warnings. CEO Sumit Gupta denied any fresh breach, saying active wallets are safe. The amount lost was not disclosed.
