Zakir Naik slammed in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan for defending Taliban

Preacher Zakir Naik has drawn wide condemnation after a viral video in which he claimed the Taliban had only 'postponed' secondary and higher education for girls over security and a lack of female teachers. Malala Yousafzai's father called the remarks deeply troubling, while exiled Afghan MP Mariam Solaimankhil noted the Taliban had banned female teachers from working.
