Sunrise Foods fined ₹1 lakh over '100% whole wheat' bread claim

The Central Consumer Protection Authority has fined Sunrise Foods ₹1 lakh for marketing its Everyday bread as '100% Whole Wheat Bread' when it contained only 64% whole wheat. FSSAI rules require at least 75% whole wheat flour for such labelling. The regulator ordered the company to pull the misleading advertisement across all media and file a compliance report within 15 days.
