Vijayawada readies 1,104 polling stations for 222 municipal wards

NTR district Collector G. Lakshmisha said comprehensive arrangements are in place for municipal elections across 222 wards in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and four municipalities. A total of 1,104 polling stations have been set up. Sensitive and hyper-sensitive booths have been identified, with CCTV surveillance and webcasting arranged, and staff trained as per State Election Commission guidelines.
