Srinagar MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi to quit National Conference and Lok Sabha

Srinagar MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi will resign from the National Conference and his Lok Sabha seat on November 3, his office announced. Estranged from the party for over a year after differences over reservation rationalisation in J&K, he accused its leadership of treating J&K like a family estate and failing its poll promise to fight for restoring Article 370.
