'All My Children' actor Alan Dysert dies at 75 after cancer battle

Alan Dysert, known for ABC's long-running soap All My Children, has died at 75 after battling a rare form of cancer, his wife Michelle said. He died on October 23. In his 2023 autobiography Lights, Camera, Cancer!, he described the illness as rare, aggressive and incurable, diagnosed decades ago. He is survived by his wife and sons Cody and Cooper.
