Study: Grok model picks Republicans, OpenAI's picks Democrats

A new study found that when forced to choose in the upcoming US midterm elections, SpaceXAI's Grok 4.7 recommended the Republican candidate in 92% of answers, while OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol picked the Democrat in 97%. Most AI chatbots avoid telling users who to vote for, but the underlying models will choose when pressed, the research showed.
