Tesla starts hiring in Vietnam, setting up a clash with VinFast

Tesla has begun hiring in Vietnam, with a recruiter saying the company is 'officially coming'. Openings include a sales manager, service manager and charging project developer. Tesla registered Tesla Motors Vietnam LLC in Ho Chi Minh City on September 11. It faces local EV maker VinFast, which has taken about 36% of new car sales there this year.
