L. Murugan calls allegations after his resignation 'baseless'

BJP leader L. Murugan, who recently quit as Union Minister of State and resigned his Rajya Sabha seat, rejected media allegations against him as fabricated and politically motivated. He said the claims aimed to malign his reputation and colour his resignation, adding that he stepped down only to strengthen grassroots cadres ahead of the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
