OpenAI's 'dots' assistant aims to make always-on AI intuitive

OpenAI released dots, an always-on personal assistant that keeps working in the background, at its developer day in late September. Alexander Embiricos, who leads OpenAI's enterprise product team, said much of it could be done with the Codex coding app, but with more hand-holding. Dots is available in ChatGPT's desktop and mobile apps on the Pro tier or higher, from $100 a month.
