Language skills key to overseas nursing jobs, says Karnataka minister

Karnataka Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil said language proficiency is often the main barrier for Indian nurses seeking jobs in countries such as Germany, Japan, Italy and the US. Speaking in Kalaburagi, he urged students to learn English and destination-country languages. He added that nursing registration and renewal with the state council are now fully online.
