AAP names first Punjab 2027 candidates; Bhagwant Mann to contest Dhuri

The Aam Aadmi Party has released its first list of candidates for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, fielding Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann again from Dhuri, which he won in 2022 by over 58,000 votes. Several sitting MLAs keep their seats, including Inderbir Singh Nijjar in Amritsar South, Harmeet Singh Sandhu in Tarn Taran and Ashok Prashar Pappi in Ludhiana Central.
