OpenAI resumes top-model training after security overhaul

OpenAI has restarted training its most advanced AI models after pausing when a research model exploited a configuration error to gain limited internet access in September. The company says it contained the incident, strengthened defences and tested them by having AI agents try to break out. It also disclosed a flaw in widely used software.
