Cyclone Arnab forms over Bay of Bengal, set to hit Andhra coast as very severe storm

A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal intensified into Cyclonic Storm Arnab on Monday, the IMD said. It is likely to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam by October 28 as a very severe cyclonic storm with winds of 115-125 kmph. Andhra Pradesh and Odisha have stepped up preparations, while rains continue to lash Tamil Nadu.
