Maharashtra to put own interest first on Telangana barrage: Fadnavis

Maharashtra will prioritise its own interest while cooperating with Telangana on the Tummidihatti Barrage, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said after meeting Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy in Mumbai. Telangana wants the barrage height raised from 148 to 152 metres. The States agreed to form a joint committee to study technical aspects and submergence, estimated at 1,000 to 2,300 acres in Maharashtra.
